Special 50th Anniversary Service - Sunday October 22nd, 2023

A Special 50th Anniversary Service was held Sunday morning October 22nd, 2023 starting at 9:30. One of our former pastors Larry White and his wife Angie attended the two day event. Larry shared with us memories of times while he was our pastor, and encouraged us to continue the ministries , along with our current pastor Chris Thorman shared God's word along with lots of music and a special time of celebration.

50th Anniversary Service

After the morning service, our church family enjoyed a fellowship meal outside on the grounds. Many members enjoyed playing games and sharing memories of blessings during the past years.

At 5:30 our Youth lead our service with a small music orchestra, puppet ministry, and special speakers.

Youth Lead Service

A banquet was held with over 200 people, including past members from other areas. 

Former pastor Bob Fielding and his wife Sharon attended. Bob shared with us some great memories of his time serving and a message of personal growth.

  Cards were turned and placed into a Time Capsule. These cards were written by church members that shared  some of the following: What the Church Means to Me, a favorite verse, special memory, or a ministry story, whatever put on their heart.

The Time Capsule was hung in the church and will be opened again on the 100th anniversary.
